Tucked along the scenic Okatee River, this quintessential Lowcountry home hides a surprise: a jaw-dropping waterfront retreat that feels more like a boutique resort than a backyard. The homeowners teamed up with our designers to create the ultimate hangout for their fun-loving, on-the-go family—with no detail left behind.

Their goal was to create an entertainment haven that works for everyone. So, we blurred the lines between indoors and out. The pool is partially tucked under the house, so adults can kick back on a bench, catch the game, or stay dry during a rainstorm—while the kids splash away in their own sun-soaked zone.

When the sun goes down, things really light up. The pool transforms into an evening showstopper, complete with a custom rain curtain cascading from arched brickwork, glowing laminar jets, and a 10-foot spa that practically begs you to unwind with a cocktail in hand. Coastal-approved finishes like ocean-blue waterline tile and sleek porcelain coping were selected to match the homeowner’s fun and active lifestyle. This pool was built to handle the elements and designed to turn heads.
